Summer School

From July 1 till 12, 2024 Eurac Research organizes a Summer School on Human Rights, Minorities and Diversity Governance, held in Bolzano/Italy. In this event Raoul Blindenbacher, President of the Convivenza Foundation, will carry out a one-day workshop about “The Governmental Learning Spiral - A Tool to solve Minority and Diversity Issues in Governance“.  For further information and application see: https://summerschool.eurac.edu 

Board meeting

On March 22, 2024 the Convivenza Foundation held its annual Board meeting at the Cercle de la Grande Société in Berne. At this occasion Lisa Hierlemann-Aebi resigned from the board after five years of duty. The Board thanked Lisa for her extraordinary contributions and wished her the best for the upcoming retirement. At the same time the Board elected unanimously Jon Pult, Member of the National Council of Switzerland, as its new member. We congratulate Jon to his appointment and look forward working with him in the future.

Key note speech

On March 11, 2024 the Vice-President of the Convivenza Foundation Romedi Arquint held a key note speech about «Herausforderungen für kleinere Sprach- und Kulturgemeinschaften» at the invitation of Domowina, in Cottbus, Saxony/Germany.

Annual Report 2023


Auf Einladung der Stiftung Convivenza und des Kompetenzzentrums für Public Management (KPM) der Universität Bern (https://www.kpm.unibe.ch), hielt Frau Professorin Véronique Zanetti von der Universität Bielefeld (D) ein Gastreferat zum Thema «Kompromiss in der Politik und Politik des Kompromisses» (siehe Abstract hier). Das Referat fand am Montag, den 4. Dezember 2023, an der Universität Bern statt.

Book Launch Volume 6 of the CONVIVENZA Book Series

On May 10 2023 a new book of the CONVIVENZA Foundation with the title “Innovation and Learning to Manage Diversity in Governance” was presented in collaboration with the European Parliamentarian Society in Strasbourg, France.

In collaboration with the Intergroup for Traditional Minorities, National Communities and Languages a workshop was held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, on May 11 2023.
