Under the auspices of the Swiss Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (18 November 2009 to 11 May 2010), CONVIVENZA - International Center for Minorities, the Europa Institut at the University of Zurich (EIZ) and the Swiss Institute of International Studies (SIAF) are pleased to invite you to the conference "From Minority Protection towards Managing Diversity" that will take place on 29/30 April 2010 at the University of Zurich.
The invitation goes to national minority experts and representatives from academia, politics and civil society. The purpose of the conference is to establish an open forum, focusing on the idea "From Minority Protection towards Managing Diversity".
We are delighted to welcome a great number of experts in the field of national minorities at the University of Zurich.

Podiumsdiskussion zur Georgienkrise
Am 1. April 2009 führte die Stiftung CONVIVENZA - Internationales Zentrum für Minderheiten - in Kooperation mit dem Europa Institut an der Universität Zürich eine Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema "Georgienkrise: Ursachen und Wirkungen" durch. Die Gesprächsteilnehmer waren Dr. Johann Bucher (a. Botschafter), Andreas Gross (Nationalrat und Europarat-Berichterstatter) sowie Max Schmid (ehemaliger Radiokorrespondent in Moskau).
